rws 2-42: ch3(counts as first st), dc1 in each starting in 2nd st. (42)
change colors with magic knot along the way.
by rw 42 the work should be long enough to wrap around your head.
Add as many rows needed to make larger, or remove rows to make smaller.
Fold work in half, but have it inside out so the seam will be on the inside. ch1
slst to join the first and last rows together.
pick up the back loop only from the last row, and the one loop from the foundation ch and slst together to join. work 1 slst in each until end of rw.
Loosen your tension if the slst rw is too tight.
Rotate work counterclockwise, continue slst join across the top of the hat by working into the sides of the dc rows. When you reach the end, cut yarn, and pull tail through the last loop to secure.
Flip right side out. Fold up the bottom half to your liking.
Don't worry about weaving in those ends!
ENJOY YOUR CAT HAT :)
